  • Minor peeling of the skin and some itchiness may occur, but they will disappear after a while.
  • The initial darkening of the skin is the effect when the skin cells are resurfaced by the bleaching cream.
  • Skin peeling is part of the process of skin whitening. When this occurs, the skin must not be scrubbed or scratched even when it gets itchy as this will result in an even darker skin.
  • Do not use on skin that is sunburned, wind burned, chapped, dry, irritated, or on open wounds.

Lanelle Kojic Cream ad with modelWhat is Kojic Acid?

Kojic acid is a byproduct in the process of fermentation of malting rice that is used to manufacture sake, a Japanese rice wine. It is produced by different species of fungi such as Aspergillus, Acetobacter and penincilium. It is an effective inhibitor of plant and animal polyphenol oxidases that speeds up the conversion of tyrosine to form melanin.

Kojic acid is a natural substance obtained from mushrooms, its small percentages between 2 to 4% is used in different skin whitening products. Its products are mostly preferred since they are safe when used in the correct dosages.

This acid is considered to be natural and therefore it is safe for use in skin lightening as compared to other skin whitening products.

Benefits of Using Kojic Acid Cream

Kojic acid cream is a skin lightening product that some dermatological clinics recommend it to people whose skin is sensitive to hydroquinone, the most typical active ingredient found in skin lighteners.

Kojic acid also acts as an exfoliator on the skin, removing dry skin. Many people also use it to treat acne and various forms of hyperpigmentation. While it doesn’t produce results overnight, a steady regimen using kojic acid cream or soap can lighten skin spots over a period of a few months.

Kojic acid works to disrupt the skin’s production of melanin, which is the source of darker skin, including freckles and brown spots.

The body naturally produces a pigment known as melanin through specialized cells known as melanocytes. Our genes produce the same amount of melanin, but how much of it gets processed determines our skin color. In people with fair skin, only small amounts of melanin are processed by melanocytes, while larger amount of the pigment are made by the cells of those with dark complexions.

Moreover, the production of melanin does not occur in fixed amounts. The production is increased in response to environmental or internal conditions such as: sun exposure (causing the skin to tan), inflammations (common among acne sufferers) and pregnancy.

Repeated exposure to the sun can result in a permanent increase in melanin production in spots on the skin, causing small freckles and larger sun or age spots to form. And here is where the Kojic acid comes in handy.

Kojic acid is also an antibacterial agent, meaning that it interferes with the processes that bacteria cells must perform to thrive and reproduce. By disrupting these processes, kojic acid causes the death of bacteria.

Some dermatologists recommend the use of mild concentrations of kojic acid for addressing acne blemishes, which are often caused by bacterial infections in the pores.

Kojic acid and Melasma

When kojic acid is applied to the skin in concentrated amounts, the chemicals in the ingredient work on the melanocytes, interfering with the production of melanin.

In addition to its skin-lightening abilities, kojic acid is classified as an antioxidant. This class of nutrients has the ability to counteract the effects of particles in the air called free radicals, which have the potential to cause oxidative damage to the skin cells.

By limiting the effects of free radicals, kojic acid helps to prevent the formation of signs of aging that occur when the cells that produce the skin’s vital structural proteins become damaged.

Lanelle Kojic cream is a highly-effective skin lightener, that evens skin tone, diminishes freckles, age spots and hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage by 50% in just two weeks.  With long term use, dark spots are eliminated.

ronica on hair• Avoid hair straighteners. Hair straighteners are commonly used by many people, but are in fact one of the most hair damaging of all treatments. The excess heat dries out your hair and permanently damages it.

• Avoid over brushing. The repetitive brushing action damages the hair and results in split ends due to mechanical trauma. Brushing a few times a day is fine, but more excessive brushing will leave the hair damaged and unhealthy looking.

• Let your hair dry naturally when possible. The excess heat produced by most hair dryers further dries out and damages your hair.

On Botox Treatment

Botox injections are currently among the most popular cosmetic procedures in the world. It is well-known for its ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crow’s feet in order to promote a more youthful appearance.

One of the first drawbacks that come to mind, however, is the fact that Botox is applied via a needle which is injected into the face and around the eyes. Fortunately, a topical Botox is on its way to doctor’s offices that will make the procedure easier for all.

Lanelle Botox Gel

Lanelle Botox Gel is a gel created by Lanelle Skin Care that is essentially a topical form of Botox. The idea behind the product is to create a formula that has skin-smoothing properties that are similarly strong to Botox’s without needing to be injected into the skin.

Advantages of Topical Botox

The first advantage of using Lanelle Botox Gel over Botox is immediately clear: it is a gel that does not require an injection, and does not require multiple applications.

For example, individuals using Botox to treat hyperhidrosis often means needing 60 punctures to administer the Botox 30 times on each underarm. Lanelle Botox Gel, on the other hand, only needs to be applied once on each side for far less painful results.

Lanelle Botox Gel also does not result in a “frozen face” after treatment, unlike its injection-based counterpart. Perhaps the only drawback to using Lanelle Botox Gel over Botox is that because it is a gel, it cannot penetrate areas on the body with particularly thick skin, such as in the feet or hands.

It is estimated that two of the biggest reasons individuals avoid Botox procedures are that they have a needle phobia and that they don’t want their facial muscles to freeze. Lanelle Botox Gel could potentially fix both of those problems as a topical Botox that provides the same service with far less discomfort.

Sharmaine Parungao Santos with make upBB creams are short for beauty balms or blemish balms. They were first developed in Germany by a dermatologist who wanted a single cream that would protect skin and provide coverage after laser treatments.

The all-in-one formulation became a sensation in South Korea and then spread throughout Asia.

What BB Creams Do

Can one beauty product really do it all? Maybe.

Many BB creams offer effective sun protection, with broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, sun protection required for everyday use. What’s more, BB creams generally contain zinc oxide or titanium oxide, physical sunblocks that have some built-in water-resistant properties.

When it comes to skin treatment, you can find BB creams that contain:

• Anti-aging components, including peptides and antioxidants such as vitamins A, E, and C
• Moisturizing workhorses like hyaluronic acid and glycerin
• Ingredients such as licorice and arbutin that help even out skin tone
• Light-reflecting mica to give skin a luminous finish
• Silicone-based ingredients, such as dimethicone, that help smooth the skin, acting much like a foundation primer does.

Finding a BB cream that matches the color of your skin perfectly can also be a challenge. BB creams tend to come in a small range of shades — usually three to five fair to medium-dark hues — or in a single shade that blends with all skin tones.

If you’re after a low-key look, that BB cream might indeed be all you need to tote for your skin care and beauty needs. It’s also a good solution, for someone who’s very natural and doesn’t like the idea of wearing makeup, but wants to protect her skin and cover up some imperfections.
